*~Raya~*

I prop myself onto my elbow and look over at him. "You ok?" I ask.

Drake shook his head and sighed. "No. This is bugging me...So much."

*~Raya~*

"Same here," I admit. "It's probley what they want, for us to be confused." I suggest.

Drake nodded. "It must be...."

*~Raya~*

I blink, suprised he actually agreed with me. For once I'm right and Drake isn't? Strange...

( xD )

Drake nodded, still staring out the window and sighing softly. "Something was wrong about them..."

*~Raya~*

"I know," I said. "It was strange, everything about them..." my voice trails off as I get lost into my thoughts. Flashes of the scene play in my mind. It doesn't make sence... I think, a troubled look on my face. There was something different in the alphas eyes; something devious and dark.

( Can we get onto the problem? Not to sound rude! I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!!!! )

Drake sighed into opened the door to walk out. "I have to go take a run...Clear my mind."

*~Raya~*

I nod in understandment. "Ok," I said.

(Hehe, here's a hint: They come at like 2:00 am xD)

( Can we skip to then? I'm starting to get a minor WB on what I'm doing. )

Drake was restless tonight. Kicking and turning, shifting and moving. Splaying his arms out and turning wolf in five seconds and back again. He couldn't sleep. A nightmare was clinging to his mind and kept gnawing slowly and it wouldn't rest and neither would he.

*~Raya~*

I woke up and looked over at Drake. "You ok?" I asked as my eyes adjusted a little.

Drake shifted again and moaned, rolling off the bed and hitting his head. He yelped and turned onto his side, not affected at all. He curled up into the blanket like a little sushi roll, the other half of the blanket on the bed.

~*Raya*~

"Drake," I said a little louder this time. I placed my hand on his arm. "Drake...Drake," I kept repeating his name, my voice rising each time.

Drake moaned a little bit and shook his head. "Stop...." He mumbled, kicking at the post for the bed and growling, slowly shifting into wolf. You could see each change to, the way his spine creaked and groaned with the feeling of pressure against it, his mouth turning into a muzzle and his ears pointing up into tips with fuzzy edges.

*~Raya~*

My eyes widen and I took my hand away from him. I bite my lip. I knew I had to wake him up. I hop out of bed and rush to his side. "Drake! Please wake up, please!" I said as I placed my hand back on him. I blink as a familiar feeling washes over me.. one of insecurity and caution, but this time it was much stronger. No...it can't be... "Oh my gosh," I whisper. "Drake please wake up, they- they're back and I'm scared..." I rush.

Drake flicked his tail feebly and pulled himself up. His brown eyes dull, practically half wolf, half human and then completely wolf again. He nuzzled her neck slightly and licking his lips, looking up and sniffing the air, laying back down with his head on his paws.

*~Raya~*

I look at him, my expression a mixture of sad and afraid. "Drake, what should I do?" I whisper. I look towards the window as I sence them sleeking through the shadows, lurking closer and closer. I bite my lip, deciding whether or not to go out there. Finally I came down to one decision. I had to. I hug Drake before running out of the room and rushing down the stairs, flinging the door wide open. I shift quickly and look into the shadows. "I know your here idiots," I growl as I cautiously slip out of the house. I see some movement to my right and quickly turn to it. "Hmm, clever girl..." A deep husky voice replies. A dark brown mud colored wolf appears out of the darkness. "What do you want," I demand my voice powerful. He smirks. "Your packs land," he says darkly. In the inside I freeze up, but on the outside I snarl at him. "You want our land? Gotta get through us first." "That doesn't seem to hard..." he says. "What was that *ss-" I start, but then stop myself as I see the rest of the pack emerge from the darkness and into the dim moonlight. This time though, intead of 6 of them, there were more like 35 of them. I blink suprised and intimadated, but I didn't show it. "Heh, wow you had to get more reinforcements?" I chuckle and shake my head. On the inside I'm flipping out like crazy. Goodbye world... I think. I stand in my fighting position and eye all of them carefully. They all growl at me in sync. I had to get some help. I let out a loud howl before one of them starts to inch slowly towards me.

Drake blinked and dashed out after her. He heard Raya's howl and skid to a stop, assesing the problem and quickly backing away. He could take on four at once if it came to that. But he knew the pack could easily defeat them. He smirked and lifted up his head, giving a loud howl or cry, backing away as he did and glancing at the wolves, hidden in his own shadows, waiting a couple seconds before he heard faint footsteps, ducking low, he looked at Carter who ran forward, snapping his large jaws at the wolf who approached and growled. "Back away buddy." He said, flicking his tail and standing up straight. he was alpha of this pack and he could tell them to kill if he wanted too.

*~Raya~*

I look over at Drake at the sound of his howl. I hear Cater's voice and look over at him quickly. Thank you! I think as I sigh in relief silently to myself. I watch as the wolf backs up a couple steps. I didn't see the alpha of the enemy pack... he was probley still in the shadows, hiding til the battle. I just needed to find that infamous dark stone gray coat... I see the 35 of them part in half, and the alpha appear, walking down the row.

Carter glared at the alpha, ready to attack, his muscles flexing under his pitch black coat. "I suggest you leave. Now." He barked. Drake stepped forward and snarled, five more wolves following after him. One female appeared from behind them, making six. She ran forward and to Carter's side. She was fast, quick and whispered something in Carter's ear. He flicked his tail once and lay it flat. The wolves seemed to take it as signal and started to tense.

*~Raya~*

The alpha now stood in front of his pack. He shook his head slowly, "Not until we get what we want," he growled in his low, dark voice. I saw his pack smirk at their leaders decision. D*mn... I really wanted to just rip them apart, each and every one... I senced the other wolves behind us and grinned. I watch as the beta and delta male step forward to stand by the alpha of their pack. Hmph.

The five wolves walked forward, looking at the other wolves, spreading out. The one on the far right was Drake. He stared at the alpha, at the whole pack, his eyes searching the movements. Carter flicked his tail again and twitched his ear. Two small wolves, looking like pups trotted forward and stood behind a ways behind him, looking innocent. The female blinked twice and then Geoffrey walked forward to stand beside Raya, smirking softly, all that playful puppy disappearing completely.

*~Raya~*

I look down at Geoffery, suprised to see the pup. "Geo?" I said in shock. "What are you doing here?" I look up at the other wolves before returning my gaze back to Geoffery. The other pack watch our movements closely. The alpha backed up a bit, but kept his attention on Carter. The pack grouped together in groups of 2 and each group watched one of our wolves.
